Delhi is the hub of lots of historical things,forts and mosques. In Delhi,lots of famous places,where you can spend your time with your friends and family. List of some popular historical tourist place of Delhi have been given below. If you go ever in Delhi,must visit these given places. Delhi is the capital of India and here always you see the crowd at every tourist place. Most beautiful thing of Delhi is Delhi metro. Lakhs of peoples suffers daily by Delhi metro.

So i will also tell to all my visitors about the metro route of all Delhi tourist places. Metro route will be cheap,safe and convenient.

Most Popular Historical Places of Metro City Delhi :-

  1. Red Fort.
  2. India Gate.
  3. Jama Masjid.
  4. Qutub Minar.
  5. Humayu ka Makbara.

Now i am going to describe briefly to all these places.

Red Fort (Lal Quila) Delhi :-

Red fort is the pride of Delhi and built by Shanhjahan.. He lives in it with their mugal family. If you come in Delhi and don,t visit Red fort then your visit will be incomplete. Red fort is formed by Red stone. This is so beautiful. This is located in old Delhi. Red fort is the symbol of India. Huge no of foreigners visit this place everyday.

India Gate –

India Gate is also a symbol of India. It is manufactured in the memory of death of India Army soldier in First world war. The architectural design of India Gate is so good. On India gate walls,name of soldiers who sacrifice their lives in first world war have been written. Here peoples come with their family and enjoy. Here lots of empty places,where you can play. Height of India gate is 42 meter. Nearest metro station is central Secretariat,when you will come out from metro a boat ride service is available. Here you can enjoy boating with your friends and family.

Jama Masjid –

Jama Masjid (Mosque) is located in Chandani Chowk near the Red Fort. Jama Masjid was built by Mugal Emperor Shahjahan.Jama Masjid is the best mosque of India. In the courtyard of Jama Masjid 25000 people can pray at a time. Jama Masjid construction was completed in six year from 1650-1656 AD.Jama Masjid is good place for marketing also. Infront of this Mosque lots of shop available,where you can buy things at cheapest rate. Here Huge no of people pray on Friday (Jumma). This place is also one of the best place of Delhi. Nearest Metro is Chawri Bazar.

Qutub Minar –

Qutub Minar is a famous historical Minar in Word. Qutb minar construction was started by Qutb-ud-din Aibak in 1192 and completed by his successor Iltutmish in 1368. Qutub Minar is second tallest minar of India. Its length is 73 meters. Tallest Minar is situated in Chappar Chiri at Mohali (length 100 meters).  It is located in Mahrauli Delhi. This is a good place for visting with friends and family.

Humayun Ka Maqbara (Humayun’s Tomb)

Humayun’s Tomb is also a famous historical place of Delhi. Tomb was commissioned by first wife of Mugal emperor Humayun Bega Begam in 1569-70. Humayun Tomb,s looks like Tajmahal. This is good and pollution free place. Nearest Metro station is Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium. Entry fee is Rs 10/- for Indian people and Rs 250/- for foreigner people.
